The Role
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving sales activity through new business subscription sales, whilst building Dealerweb brand advocacy across the UK market. You will build and maintain a sales pipeline, present and demonstrate Dealerweb products to prospective customers whilst contributing to the creation of a dynamic, energetic and professional culture.
This role would be well suited to an individual with experience in an automotive Sales role or a Graduate/School leaver with the confidence and enthusiasm to effectively engage senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing an active pipeline of leads and opportunities within Salesforce, utilsing and updating data both efficiently and effectively to create a powerful database
- Prospecting new and existing customers to identify new business opportunities
- Working closely with Account Managers and Account Directors to identify opportunities with existing customers and planning a sales approach
- Understanding customer requirements once committed and working with the Customer Onboarding team to deliver an excellent experience for the new customer
- Proactively approach prospects to gain product demonstration opportunities
- Delivering compelling presentations and product demonstrations both physically and remotely, engaging audiences and senior decision makers
- Reporting accurately to sales management on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
- Liaising directly with 3rd party counterparts to grow mutually beneficial relationships
- Representing the business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events
Knowledge & Skills
- You must have a full current UK driving licence
- Excellent telephone skills/a confident, enthusiastic communicator
- Knowledge of Salesforce is desirable but not essential
- Technical proficiency with Outlook, MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Skilled in organising tasks and establishing priorities to meet deadlines
- Strong work ethic, a self-starter with a proactive approach
