How we Use Cookies

A Cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. Once you agree, it becomes a unique identifier and may also include information about your usage or your preferences. That’s how websites and web applications can analyse traffic, see how often you visit as an individual, or tailor themselves to your needs, likes and dislikes.

We use traffic log cookies – files that identify which pages are being used. These help us analyse our traffic and improve our website by tailoring it to the visitor trends we see. We only use this information for statistical analysis and then remove it from the system.

Cookies mean we can monitor which pages you find useful. They don’t give us any access to your computer or any information about you, other than data you have chosen to share with us.

You can choose to accept or decline cookies – although accepting them offers the better experience. Your web browser probably accepts them by default, but that’s easily changed in your browser settings.

To opt out of being tracked by Google Analytics across all websites visit http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Embedded Cookies – we may embed content such as YouTube videos. Embedded content may set cookies which are completely outside of our control.
